The currency in Spain, like in most of the other European countries is the Euro (€). In most of the Latin American countries, in which Spanish is the spoken language, the currencies are called Peso (Mexican Peso, Argentinian Peso, Colombian Peso, etc..). In Peru, the official currency is the 'Sol'.

Exercise
After a trip to Argentina, your brother owes you some money. Tell him in Spanish, how much he has to pay back to you.
