Spanish spelling and the alphabet

In order to be able to spell the words of a different language, it's always helpful to know the alphabet of that language. The Spanish alphabet consists of 26 letters (like in English) plus four more. While looking at the alphabet below, which letters are the four new ones that you probably don't know yet. Which letters does each of the four new ones follow?

a'a'k'ka's'ese'
b'be (be grande)'l'ele't'te'
c'ce'll'elle'u'u'
che'che'm'eme'v've'
d'de'n'ene'w'doble ve'
e'e'ñ'eñe'x'equis'
f'efe'o'o'y'yé (i griega)'
g'ge'p'pe'z'zeta'
h'hache'q'cu'
i'i'r'ere'
j'jota'rr'erre'

The four letters that do not exist in English are 'che', 'll' (elle), 'ñ' (eñe) and 'rr' (erre).
In a Spanish dictionary, the three letters 'che', 'll' and 'ñ' are alphabetized and thus treated as single letters. This means that for example words that start with a 'ch' ("chico"), come after words, which start with 'co' (correr). Therefore, if you cannot find a Spanish word, check, whether you thought about the alphabetization of 'che', 'll' and 'ñ'. If your keyboard is not set up for the Spanish alphabet, you can always use a regular 'n' instead of the 'ñ' character.

You will later learn in this lesson, how to pronounce every single letter of the Spanish alphabet inside a certain word.
