Exercises with 'ser' and 'estar'This was already lots of new stuff, which you had to learn here. Therefore, we would like to take a little time to repeat and deepen a little the already known grammar through some exercises. Exercises within our lessons are always labeled with the word "Exercise". Exercise Put into the following Portuguese sentences the correct forms of the verb 'ser' (to be). As you know, the conjugations of 'ser' are dependent on the person and the number (plural or singular). Example: Tu __italiana? Tu ésitaliana? 1) Vera e (and) Carla de Portugal. <- move over ? to see correct answer2) Você brasileiro? 3) Eu turista. 4) Milão não (not) a capital do Brasil. 5) Nós de Londres (London). Exercise Now, we will practice the conjugations of the verb 'estar' (also: to be). Place into the empty fields below the right forms of the verb 'estar'. Example: Elas _____no Brasil. Elas estãono Brasil. 1) Eu não (not) no Brasil. <- move over ? to see correct answer2) Nós na praia. 3) Tu aqui de férias? Exercise Try to find out, whether in the following sentences, you have to use a form of 'ser' or a form of 'estar'.
