Lesson 7: Shopping and Clothing

Exercise D (4 of 5) previous        next

So far, we haven't really used any possessive pronouns for nouns in the plural. But we said earlier that the possessive pronouns for plural nouns are exactly the same as the possessive pronouns for singular/feminine nouns:

possessive pronouns for plural nouns
casemasculinefeminineneuterplural
nominativemeinmeinemeinmeine
accusativemeinenmeinemeinmeine

Exercise
The following phrases all contain a possessive pronoun, an adjective, and a noun. Can you put these phrases into the plural by following our example?

Example: mein grosser Bruder
meine grossen Brüder

1) deine kleine Schwester

2) sein neues Auto

3) ihr gelber Pullover

4) unsere schöne Stadt

5) eure hässliche Wohnung

6) ihr alter Onkel
