Page 1 of 12       next

In the Shopping Mall: Centro O

In the last lesson, the Beckers from Germany had their relatives from the US coming for dinner. The dinner was great and everyone liked the food that the Beckers had prepared. On the next day, Anne Becker is taking her cousin Linda from the US to a shopping mall in Oberhausen, Germany. Linda speaks German quite well, since she had taken German classes for some years in high-school.

There were plenty of new things in the dialog above, which might have given you a hard time reading and understanding it. Mainly, the new things were: Indefinite articles, the plural forms of nouns and the proper use of adjectives. Those three things will be the main focus of this lesson and we will go into the details of this new grammar on the following pages.
