Using adjectives to describe things
On this page, you will continue exercising the gender of the new words that you learned.
Additionally, you will review the different forms of the verb 'sein' (to be) and learn
how to use this verb with adjectives.
Adjectives are words that describe people and things. The simplest way to use an
adjective in German is with the verb 'sein' (to be).
For example, to say "he is tall", you simply use 'er' plus 'ist' plus the German adjective
'groß', which means tall: "Er ist groß."
