Numbers from 0 to 20
On this page you will learn how to count from 0 to 20 in German. Try to recognize the similarities
between German and English numbers (e.g. 'four' = 'vier').
Paying attention to similarities will help you tremendously to memorize German numbers and words in the future.
The numbers in German from 0 to 20 are:

The currency in Germany, Austria and in nine other European countries is the Euro (€).
In Switzerland, which is not a member of the European Union, the 'Schweizer Franken' is the
official currency.
