Numbers from 0 to 20

On this page you will learn how to count from 0 to 20 in German. Try to recognize the similarities between German and English numbers (e.g. 'four' = 'vier'). Paying attention to similarities will help you tremendously to memorize German numbers and words in the future.

The currency in Germany, Austria and in nine other European countries is the Euro (€). In Switzerland, which is not a member of the European Union, the 'Schweizer Franken' is the official currency.
